I'm building a few les paul Jr style guitars and on one of them I've always wanted to do a Zemaitis style guitar but there is no way I could do the kind of metal engraving it would take. Anyone know where I could find someone to do this style of metal engraving? (not this exact thing just this style of work)  |

Might want to ask some of those custom bike builders, you know like the ones we see on the tube. Don't know if there are any in your area or not. By the way, what are you doing up so late there John? Nocturnal? |

I sent a few e-mail inquiries to some guys who do gun engraving... we shall see. I do stay up late...and get up early...too much work to be done! |

John, I think a gunsmith would be your best bet for that kind of engraving. Seems like they would have the sort of specialized tools do do that. Let us know when you get one done. I would love to see it. |

John, One of my friends does this on banjos. He's one of a few. PM me with details as if you were talking to him, I'll forward it. He used to do gun stocks for a living, banjos, etc. He is great at heel carving, metal engraving, and pearl engraving. I'll see if he's got the time. |
